sexy...

...she has nice curves....i'll check out that site.

beautiful...

i really like her, i just feel that her wings are too small. dont really do her majesticness justice. but very nice overall.

emiliapaw5 responds:

Thanks! She did have bigger wings before but they made her look too masculine. I will try better next time ^.^

very simple, i like it.

and a very original idea. a bar code as rain.

tinkerbell?

wish there was more detail on the figure on your palm, would have made the whole thing that much better. its still really good anyways

very nice, the one on the far right looks like hes wearing a ripped mask. whats with the color though? and its a bit blurry, im guessing the scanner was not very good?

wow....respect

pretty high quality right here. and you did it with a fuckin mechanical pencil, nice...how long did it take you???

lush yeah

iv been looking through your stuff. your fuckin talented. what i like about you is that you use all kinds of media, water color, charcoal, pen, pencil, colored pencil. thats good. im so stuck in my ways, i need to venture away from the pencil and try use other media more often.

very detailed, i like this piece along with all your other stuff as dark and demonic as they may be lol be happy, you inspire me))

Thulcandra responds:

Thanks a lot for your comment! :D I'm really glad you like my artwork. Regarding being stucked in anything, well...I don't really find it quite bad. I mean, if you are focused in X media or genre, you can improve it in a better way and then you can be specialized in it. In my case i usually 'neglect' the backgrounds, so I often only draw figures (in fact, I hate to draw woods and vegetation, I'm really bad drawing it, haha).
Cheers!

strange but i like!

i really like the colors and the way you mixed them up, like in the background. the patches of pink on the blue. also, the pink of the creature really contrasts well with the predominantly turquoise/aquamarine background. it gives off a dream like atmosphere which i like.

fuck me, this is good.

how long did you take to do this???
this is quite impressive, the amount of detail is stunning.
i especially like the two large bottom feathers and the masks they are wearing.
respect!

i looked at some of your art, you need to do more illustrations like this.
your my new favorite artist on NG!

StarwolfTsuname responds:

Thanks a lot for the comment, much appreciated! It took me a few days. I worked on it mostly during my classes, so it's hard to calculate the EXACT time I spent on it in total.

I have gotten back into my macabre phase for some reason, thanks Sigur Ros and Silent Hill, such inspiration. XD

Again, thanks for the compliment, glad you like my work!

nice

this is really good, did you use a reference?

im quite a fan of work done with biros. the best part for me is the hair which is never easy to do.
do you sketch it first with a pencil before you use a pen?
i just think there should be shadows and folds on her dress, it looks to plain.

Bryony responds:

biro is the best! thanks for the advice, i do need to work on making my shading darker in general, but it is actually a lot darker just my scanner is awful and doesn't pick it up well. not sure how i can fix this without overworking the original though.

oh yeah it is from reference, not one of my best but i'm still learning to draw the figure.
