[Hellami Episode 2]

pretty cool stuff

I have to agree with some of what the guys below me said about this. Let me start with the good parts though:

I liked your art style, i think it fits well with the kind of dark, melancholy atmosphere. i like how you draw the characters very realistically, thats something thats really missing on a lot of flash animations I've seen on Newgrounds. its like artists these days are either too lazy or don't have the skill to draw realistic characters so props for that. i liked the sketchiness of it too because i think it also fits with the type of atmosphere that you're trying to portray.

however i don't think the animation does the art style justice. if you're gonna make such a realistic movie, then the animation has to be pretty smooth. the part in the beginning where that guy with glowing eyes was walking towards the girl was kind of messed up. it was like he was just sliding from side to side instead of actually jerking from side to side.

also, the weakest thing about all this was the script and the voice acting. i really don't know which was more poor. the script either sounded out of place, too cheesy or it was forced like when she said that line about not fearing death but being afraid of life. the voice acting was pretty bad, especially for that black guy lol why don't you try actually getting a black guy to do the voice acting? and was the blonde guy supposed to have an English accent?

if you can improve on the script, the voice acting, and the fluidity of the animation this could be much much better.

its clear to see that you put a great deal of effort into this; it was very good and well done. the dialogue was good as well. i just didnt understand why Batman was beating on the SWAT team. they go into the building and he comes out of nowhere whooping ass left and right. perhaps you could have made that more clear.

the animation was good and i like how you gave it that kind of vintage feeling however the audio was a bit iffy and the narration could have been better.

although a lot of what you said is true, it sounded like you were saying everybody who is jobless or on welfare is lazy and refuses to get a job. that is just an ignorant generalization.

there are too many reasons one can have for not having a job and being on welfare. some people are just born into a life of poverty and for others no matter what they do their situation just won't get better. especially today, its not that easy just to get a job. if welfare didn't exist, the US would be in far worse economical state than it already is right now.

whoa, shocking....

to be honest, im very surprised this made front page. i watched it twice and personally, i didn't find it very funny at all and the animation and art was poor.

normally, a parody pokes fun at specific things that are related to whatever it is your making fun of but i didn't really see that in this. to me it was like you were just using streetfighter for the sake of it.

more effort!

very good story and visuals. your style of art is also very good. i just felt that the last showdown lacked something more. loke One Eye got killed too easily. anyway keep it up mate!
